Default Installing GFX Guide

Obviously everyone has added a few additional GFX to their FM07...

With the release of the new patch coming soon I thought I'd try out the official word from SI and create a graphics folder in "My Documents" directory and place ALL my GFX in that dir...

So here are step by step instructions on how to do it...

Make sure you are NOT playing FM when you are doing this!!
--------------------

Go to the following direcotry and create a folder called "graphics" if there is not already one there..
C:\Documents and Settings\*your machine name*\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\

Go into that new folder you created which will be:
C:\Documents and Settings\*your machine name*\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\graphics

Now leave that screen open and open a new window by going into the direcotry listed below:
C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\graphics\pictures

Highlight EVERYTHING in there (should be 4 folders and 1 config file) if you have the same setup as mine.

Once you have highlighted all of them and selected COPY.. then click into the FIRST screen you had open and select PASTE...

This will move all the GFX from the Program Files folder to the one you made in the My Docs folder...
Once this has completed then DELETE ALL in the "Program Files" directory that you had highlighted..

Load up FM07 and your GFX will still work..
This will save you losing any GFX that SI have added to the patches they are releasing! :)

MAKE SURE YOU READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.. AS I DO NOT ACCEPT REPSONABILITY FOR ANY ERRORS AS IT WORKS ON MY MACHINE!!!!
