Default Player Mentoring Guide

Tazskool’s FM07 Guide To
Player To Player Mentoring
www.fmformation.net

http://tuxdevil.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk...ring_Guide.zip

Now another new addition to FM07 is player to player mentoring. This basically enables you to have your tell your junior team members to use a good first team player as a mentor and learn from their style of thinking and playing.

Now If you look at the image below I have the U-18 Liverpool squad. I simply right click on a players name and select PLAYER INTERACTION options. This shows another sub menu and I select xxxxxxxx.

Next you get this screen, see image below, whereby you are being told about this player and right at the bottom of the screen you get to choose who he is to look up to and be mentored by.
( I have merged the images)

Now with this you have to choose wisely because you have a selection of options as you can see by the screen above.

A few things to really make sure of:
1. The player you are asking him to be mentored is that in the same playing position otherwise they may adapt the wrong style of play and frame of mind.
2. This player who will be the mentor is one of the best in your first 11 and respected.
3. The player who will be the mentor is happy at the club.
4. Also a useful thing to check is that the player you are saying to be the mentor is their favourite player. This will help in the positive feedback from both players over the mentoring

Not all players will like being a mentor so be careful!

Once the player has been assigned a “mentor” you will see TUT next to the players name!

How are we supposed to end the mentoring?
Other than one of the players leaving the club of course.

Okay, thanks.

One thing I've found out that the players can learn the older players' Preferred Moves if the get along well.

You will build a good relationship with those players you set as an example for the youngsters but it can also work against you if the tutoring process does not go well because of a personality clash.

Yes they do :)

Another guide for mentoring is the 'similar type of player to xxxx'
