First of all, everyone who wants to join in a network game with you must download a program called Hamachi. Find it at http://www.hamachi.cc. Basically, all of you people who can't host because you can't figure out how to alter your router settings now have a way to play a network game. Hamachi creates a network that other people can join.

Here's what to do although it's quite straight forward:

Load hamachi and click the power icon in the bottom left corner.

Then create a network - the triangle button in the bottom right ;) - give it a name and a password. The people who join this network will be the ones playing the game, and they all need the name of the server and the password.

To join someone elses server all you have to do is click on the join icon (easy isn't it ;)) and type in teh server name and password of the host.

PEOPLE RUNNING THE SERVER MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TICKED: RUN AS SERVER IN PREFERENCES

Then to connect to the hosts game, do the usual thing - load up FM, click on network on the title screen. And you will see the option in the bottom box which will be the hosts server which (hopefully) you have joined.

This runs servers much faster so is great for big leagues with many people and it's FREE.
