When I turn off the 'Full Screen' box in Preferences and hit ok it says "Changes failed. Make sure your system supports the changes."

Got a new laptop with a 1280 resolution, but FM makes itself 1024 and that's really ugly and grainy, and almost unusable.

Wondered if anyone had any ideas on how I can make it a windowed view. Cheers.

On your dekstop RIGHT click on the fm shortcut..
go to properties and in the first box AFTER the .exe" type
--windowed=true

so its look like .exe" --windowed=true

click ACCEPT and start FM

I use windowed mode on my remote controlled pc ;)

Thanks for taking the time to post that, but unfortunately it's still the same. After clicking confirm FM does actually show in Windowed mode (it did that before too) with the error, and then goes back to full screen.
