Default How To Make Your Own Creased Kits

How To Make Your Own Creased Kits

1) Download the file Template for Photoshop CS or Higher

2) Open the file in Photoshop. To do this, you press CTRL+O, where after you find the file where you saved it.

3) Find a picture of the jersey you want. I want to do the Barcelona home jersey, which is why I pick this picture. Copy it in to Photoshop, by right clicking on the image, and selecting "Copy". In Photoshop, you push CTRL+N, followed by Enter. Then you push CTRL+V, and the file should now be in Photoshop.

4) Go back to the template. Delete the background and the textobject. This is done by pressing V, then marking the areas to be deleted, and pressing Delete.

5) Find the design that you want the jersey to have. In my case, it's Barcelona.

Because Barcelona is sponsored by Nike, there isn't too much doubt, that we chave to go to the layerbox and look for the Nike directory. It can be seen on the screenshot above. After this, press the arrow pointing towards the Nike directory. A lot of designs will appear, and from here you just experiment your way through, by clicking the eye. When doing so, the design should appear on the jersey.

6) Push I. The button I. Then you should get the ”Eyedropper Tool”. Go to the correct picture of the jersey, that you have. Press the color, marking the foundation of the jersey. In my case, the foundation is the darkred color. I then doubleclick on the colorpalett on the right, and copy the colorcode.

7) Then I go to the layerbox in the far buttom corner, so I now have the green jersey. Selecting the file named Shirt. Here I rightclick, and press Blending Options. Then go down to Color Overlay.

8) In there, press the green color, which is already there. Then a new popop appears, where i insert the colorcode i copied a short while ago. Then the shirts jersey will be red.

9) Press I. The button I. Then you should get Eyedropper Tool. Then go to the correct image of the jersey, that you have. Press the color, marking the stripes on the jersey. In my case, the dark blue color. I then doubleclick on the colorpalett on the right, and copy the colorcode.

10) Now the white stripes needs coloring. I go to 06 Nike Total 90 Thin Stripes, where I find the one called ’Stripes’. Here you again go to the Blending Options and insert this colorcode, which was just copied. This is also done with Right Arm Stripes, Right Arm, Left Arm Stripes, Left Arm and Border.

11) Now for the details which has to be perfect. We have to find a logo. For this purpose, we go to http://www.brandsoftheworld.com and find a Barcelona logo. Copy this logo, and make a new document.

12) Delete the white background, and go to Image > Image Size. Experience tells me the logo has to be between 7x7 pixels and 10x-10x pixels. We make this 8x8. Place the logo correctly, matching the Nike logo..

13) Now we have to make a collar, for the players to be able to put their head through the jersey. This collar, is found at the top. I'd say that O-Shape Thin, is the right one. Now you just have to adjust the colors to match.

14) Mark all the layers, and press CTRL+E. Then go to Image > ImageSize , and set Height = 80 and Width = 79, and congratulations, you're done!
