How to do a proper pre-season First of all bring to your main squad the players that have done lbetter ast season in your reserves and youngsters. Second, arrange 5 friendlies against average teams. On the 1st game get your new signings, reserves and youngsters. Make a starting eleven and fill teh bench, don't use any of the palyers you had used last season. At half time sub them all. On the 2nd game, reverse the selection, making your starting eleven the ones you had on the bench in the last match and again sub them all at half time. On the 3rd game pick the best eleven players from the last 2 matchs and make them your starting one and get the team that played last season on the bench. At half time sub them all. On the 4th game reverse the selection and also test your new tactic (if you have one). Again, at half time, sub all. On the 5th and last match use the tactic you used the previous match and choose the players that did better and make them your stating eleven, grab the rest and put them on the bech, at half time do any subs you think needed. At this time you probably found out that you had a great player laying around in your reserves/youngsters and how good the new signings are. You tested your tactic and gave everyone a good pre-season by rotating the squad alot. Now choose your players based on the pre-season and go for the title. |
