First of all, excuse my english but I’m italian.
I prepared a full db of the season 1992/93, centered over italian championship but almost complete for english premiership and full of great stars of these years.
OVERVIEW

DETAILS
>> ITALY: corrected some problems of version 1.0, published only on italian forum sites. Little changes of CA e PA for important italian players. Deleted all loans in italian teams. Inserted around 50 new player in teams of second division (SerieB) for reducing the value of the teams relegated for game requirement (Palermo, Siena, ecc.). Replaced all the strong players of second division (Miccoli, Amauri …) with players playing really in that season with lower CA and PA.
>> ENGLAND: almost complete, with more than 300 coaches and players of the teams in Premiership 1992 and 2007 (32 teams edited). The most important teams have more than 20 new players, the others around 10 (except Wigan with only 3 new players, but in 1992 Wigan was in fourth division and I didn’t find usefull informations in Internet). Some strong teams in 1992 in Premier are now in lower division, but you can find great players there with a value of PA proper to their real value of the time.
>> GERMANY, SPAIN, PORTUGAL, HOLLAND and FRANCE: all the players with >=155 or =-10 are edited, deleted or new. Some teams, the most important of the time, have 15 new players, the others the right number for replacing the actual strong or important players. Any nation has around 150 new players for the national team
>> BRASIL and ARGENTINA: all the champions of that period are inserted with PA –10 o –9, so the game will decide who will be the next champion. There are around 100 new players playing in South America and 150 playing in Europe
>> REST OF THE WORLD: all the players on national teams of that time are inserted, with list taken from World Campionship 1990 and 1994, European Championship 1992, Africa’s Cup 1990 and 1994, America’s Cup 1991 and 1993.

>> Load only “Italian Serie A” (I tested only this championship and I don’t guarantee results with other championship, but anyone is free …)
>> Unselect the voice for don’t admitting transfers in the first period of game; this will leave the teams closer to the original until january 2008.
COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS
I begun to create this db editing a particular db in wich all the values of players, mental and technic, were set to 0. In this original db only eight, weight, role, contract data and age were fixed. This means that the engine of the game, any time you will create a new game, will generate value for each player’s parameters; the game will decide the characteritic of each player, if he will be a runner, a jumper, an hard worker or a free kicker. Any game you will create will define different characteristics for the same player, always inside the level of CA and PA fixed by me. All the new players or the edited players have actual reputation and international reputation set to 0; this means that is the engine of the game that will decide who will be, at the beginning, a famous player. For this reason, and only at the beginningof the game, you could buy great potential player at a very low price. For the same reasoning, at the beginning of the first season you will see national teams full of medium players, not the great players you could expect, but the international reputation could be too low for entering in a national team. The strongest actual players born in 1977 have now 16 year instead 15 (any player still active is 15 year younger, 2007-1992=15) because I noticed that sometimes engine doesn’t load players too young and I didn’t want to loose those potential great and famous players. This assure a long life for each game. All the young players edited lost their personal relationships because they could not live, in FM, the same life we know. I made four tests with version 1.0 and two tests for version 1.1. Only a season for each game test. At the end I compare the result in FM with reality. Italian Serie A is very similar to what really happened that year, some positions could change but the random parameters for players are too much for expecting any time the same fixtures. European competions presented different results than now; english team are not strong as now, except Liverpool and Manchester UTD, but is correct, because Chelsea before Abramovich and his money was a poor team, like Arsenal. Good results, however, for Everton, Ipswich and Tottenham, god team in 1992. Germans teams are stronger than now, but this is correct too regarding reality in 1992. Very good results for Real Madrid and Barcelona, as in reality, and good results for Zaragoza and Siviglia (Maradona was playing there). Other better results than actual period for Anderlecht, Red Star, Dinamo Zagreb and Dinamo Kiev. However two tests are not significant for creating an history.
