ooooohhhh what about a league like the champs league format but have all the teams who win their respective league in the comp.
so basically you have to win your own league to qualify for the comp. |

MUFC, you mean like a superleague made out of the winners from the european leagues? the 2nd league can be winners from the 2nd grade euro league e.g luxembourg/ san marino etc.

MUFC's idea is pretty good. You can just grab the Co-efficients list for the countries to see which country champions should be in the premier league and which in lower divisions. |

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but as you can see this is my first post. I want to create the Home International Championship in my fm07 game. I thought it could be run every other year (07, 09 etc). I've think I've found out how to customise the fixtures but how do I create a new competition so that it is properly named and has a running table with it?

i think that there should be a north/central american superleague, especially with the teams that are unplayable from the usl (united soccer leagues - us and canada)
also, there should be a legends league but im not sure how that would work for example many players became legends at multiple clubs...
and world would be good too |

I think the legends database is a great idea. To decide which legends to use for as team you could run different threads and get people to vote. |

it would be quite hard :P as you cant change competition rules so you would have to swap scottish leagues with another country to do it. very hard i think. |

well for me playable Lithuanian leagues would be great. Come to think all baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) leagues would be interesting to play with. Also i think these countries havea common cup. But i dont know the rules.
As i saw player data when you load players from these counties is quite accurate. And besides if anyone wants he can make adjustion by himself. I would like to see EU Super League or World Super League (with 1000s of teams).
It's a pity that you can not create new leagues with your own rules. Is that a hard programing question? You cannot create new leagues or competitions, as the competitions are hard coded into the game :| would be great if you could though :) |
