The FMF Knockout Challenge
Competitors will be randomly paired up and face each other in a one season challenge, both competitors will be required to manage the same club which will be randomly selected by myself.
An appropriate points tariff will be laid out and competitors must compete throughout one season to achieve as many points as they possibly can.
The competition will be run on good faith with screenshots required to justify point acquisitions.
Competitors will have 5 days to complete the season, if a competitors screenshots are not posted by the 5 day deadline they will forfeit.

5 days for a season :O usually takes me about a week for a season lol, altho i do tend to take my time, im not sure if ill give this one ago but i will let ya know mate

Its open to changes, if most people think that 5 days isn't long enough then it can be extended to a week, at this stage i just wanna get some interest and see what happens from there. |

Although I do agree that the five days will probably need to be extended!
Do you know yet when you're planning on beginning the competition? Because I'd just like to suggest it shouldn't be begun until September or something, owing to many people off holidaying this time of year.

well if people want it to start more towards the September time then someone else will have to take charge because i'm going back to Uni in september so won't have as much spare time. |

to avoid odd numbers and the situation where we need to give someone a bye, i have thought of a new idea, everyone who wants to enter will play as the same team and the top 3 points scorers will progress to a final where a new team will be chosen and the winner will be the person who scores the most points with this team.

well if players total the same points from the points tariff then it would go down to how many points they finished with in the league. |

This is a brilliant idea mate. Unfortunately I won't have the time to play a season in 5 days as just recently my work has required me to do overtime and I haven't played FM in 3 days.  I'd like to see how people do though. |

Enable Attribute Masking - Yes

This will be the basis of the challenge, anyone who wants to get cracking on it straight away can do. Also anyone who wants to join in can feel free to have a go. I will put up details of the points tariff as soon as i figure it all out.

yeah since its only a one season challenge and obviously that will improve game speed for people on slower computers. |
