Had an idea about an addition to the fantasy football league. I'm sure you've all noticed that in addition to the FMF league you joined there is also a league called Head to Head. This is a new feature introduced this season that mimics the premier league by having 20 fantasy teams pooled in a league together. Rather than just having the person with the most points winning, each week you "play" another team in the league with the team that scores the most points that week earning a 'win' or if it's even then it's a draw. It uses the standard 3 points for a win 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss format.
So my idea was basically to completely plagiarise that idea and run a similar thing with the teams in the FMF league. Think it might be a good laugh to as well as having the overall league running to have head to heads each week.
How it will work is I will draw up a fixture list prior to week 1 that sees all the teams entered play each other twice. I will use the same rules as the head to head league so the team with the most points each week will be awarded 3 points, or 1 for a draw. I will maintain an excel spreadsheet with all the results and a league table on to keep a record and will set up a thread on FMF with an up to date league table, fixtures and results.
Just an idea at the moment, let me know what you guys think and if you're all for it I'll put it in motion, it's just for a laugh and a bit of friendly rivalry.
