How is it going so far? post some screenies! | | | | 05-05-08, 05:02 PM | #82 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Jun 2007 Posts: 50 Thanks: 3 Thanked 12 Times in 7 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Started as Rangers(HKG) 2 days ago but halfway into the season I quit because I accidentaly unticked the "Real Players"-option, and not having real players annoys me. So I started again as East Bengal in India, I only just noticed someone else started as them :o , anyway I'm starting the league soon, I won the confederation cup knocking out three teams. I've signed 2 players so far(DC and ST), and I've got 2 other players coming in soon(Also DC and ST). I lost my best player(Pardal, ST) for 2 months so hopefully my 37 year old back up will deliver(already scored 2 in 3 so far). Will post screens as soon as the registration window closes. Just won my first league game 4-0. Loaded: Italy, South Africa, South Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Mexico, China, U.S.A, Spain, Iceland, Holland, England.(Only top division apart from Spain,England and Italy where I loaded all) Last edited by RedViking; 05-05-08 at 05:17 PM. I've been looking good from my friendlies, haven't actually started the league yet though - piled four goals in 25 minutes on a team in a friendly. Pardal is quality, unfortunately you are only allowed 4 overseas players in India and it's always the overseas players that are the best. | | | | | 06-05-08, 11:20 AM | #85 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Jun 2007 Posts: 50 Thanks: 3 Thanked 12 Times in 7 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | xxxxblake: If you have room for a foreigner I'd check out Viola and Danilo(Guarani VA), Viola is 37-38 but he's still better then most strikers(good partner with Pardel or as a good back up) EDIT: And a little heads up, despite the cap for the squad being 4 foreign players the cap for the matchsquad is 3. Now the season is over, won the league, the durand cup, the federation cup and finished 1st in my AFC(Asian UEFA) cup group(not sure when that competition starts :o) ImageShack - Hosting :: egmanagerov08fw4.jpg ImageShack - Hosting :: ebinout08ql6.jpg EDIT: ImageShack - Hosting :: ebinout08v2cp2.jpg Just signed two extra players to help with my AFC cup campaign. Just drew Al-Riffa from Bahrain and if i Win them I'll get either Tampines Rovers from Singapore or April 25 from North-Korea. Just won the AFC cup with them, Applied for a couple of International jobs now that I've left East Bengal. Maybe I shouldve started as favourites in hong kong league to give me a better footing. still i'll get on with my taffs well game and post screenies soon. I may be taking them to the uefa cup if the welsh cup results favour me! :D | | | | 09-05-08, 11:14 PM | #89 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Jun 2007 Posts: 50 Thanks: 3 Thanked 12 Times in 7 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | My season with Redditch went very well, was tipped for relegation but still managed to get them to 2nd place but lost in the playoffs 4-3 to Tamworth( they scored on 91st min. otherwise I would have won). Very proud of what I achieved despite losing the playoffs considering I had horrible defense. Sun Hei from Hong Kong approached me and I accepted. They're tipped for 3rd place in the hong kong league so it should be good one, hopefully if I win something there it'll up my rep so I can get a proper job :D. That and the fact I haven't had so much fun in FM for a while, although I was close to giving up when I was at Hednesford or early on in my Redditch spell. My first season with Sun Hei went very well won all the competitions I could, one problem with my team is that it's packed with foreigners and theres a limit on how many you can play in a match(7) but thankfully some of my key chineses players got Hong Kong passports halfway into the season which really strengthend my squad(had the best reserve team in the country :D) Transfers in/out: Some of my transfers where counted in the previous window and I cba to take antoher screen so I'll count them up Sebastian Battaglia-Free-Boca Junoirs Cléber Oliveira-40k-Guangzhou(Sold him for 1mil later in the season and got Eliezer for the money I got from him) Ju Yingzhi-12k-Dalian ImageShack - Hosting :: shinout1011hr2.jpg Manager Overview: ImageShack - Hosting :: shmanov1011xa5.jpg Last edited by RedViking; 11-05-08 at 06:17 PM. | | | | | 11-05-08, 10:59 PM | #92 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I might try this challenge looks hard | FM08 Trophies (Reading) English League Cup 1X (Reading) English Premier League 1X Current Game Reading In 2008 | | | 15-06-08, 05:01 PM | #93 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 7 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | i have just started this challenge with Sun Hei (Hong Kong) and i was just wondering if any one could tell me the best leagues to look for new players, thanks | | | | | 15-06-08, 06:10 PM | #94 (permalink) | | Indispensable To FMF Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Sheffield Posts: 1,519 Thanks: 430 Thanked 308 Times in 292 Posts Nominated 6 Times in 2 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | In hong kong, I checked the hong kong and african teams but if you have a bit of mone to spend, check out the jamaican teams, they are all good quality, cheap and want little wages, best bet is the check the free's and hope for the best. gl mate. | This is for you James, hope you like it | | | 15-06-08, 06:27 PM | #95 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 7 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | ok cheers mate, will keep u updated | | | | | 20-07-08, 05:00 PM | #96 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 2 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Hi, ive just signed up because i saw the challenge youve set up, its quality so i decided to take it on. Im Happy Valley Athletic association in Hong Kong, I've just won my first friendly 3 - 0 and i promoted one of my Youth Regens and he scored a brace at 15 ! Im hoping he'll replicate his performance which will save me from spending money on a new striker. Ive brung in two players so far from one of my parent clubs. I tried to sign Patrik Lomski, His team accepted the offer but he didnt want to take the step down, i also approached Charles ademeno from Southend (My local team) but he just straight up rejected. I'm looking foward to this Challenge and taking my team to the top | | | | | 03-08-08, 02:48 PM | #97 (permalink) | | Hot Prospect Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 77 Thanks: 13 Thanked 10 Times in 10 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | im starting this now it looks like a great challenge i am starting as persiba in the indonesian premier division | | | | | 03-08-08, 05:09 PM | #98 (permalink) | | Indispensable To FMF Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Sheffield Posts: 1,519 Thanks: 430 Thanked 308 Times in 292 Posts Nominated 6 Times in 2 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | good luck mate, keep us posted. | This is for you James, hope you like it | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Wednesdayboy For This Useful Post: | | 04-08-08, 12:56 PM | #99 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Portsmufff Posts: 531 Thanks: 189 Thanked 74 Times in 72 Posts Nominated 25 Times in 6 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | This sounds really interesting; I think I might give it a go! =) Yep, I've started a game, and I've loaded: - Hong Kong - England (Premier League - Conference North/South) - Northern Ireland (Premier League, First Division, Second Division) - Wales - Italy (Serie A & B) I'm going to start in Hong Kong, and will post some screenshots when the transfer window ends. I hope) career at Hong Kong side Kitchee. They are predicted to finish second, and are the sole Hong Kong representatives in the Asian Confederation Cup, so that's not too bad. However, they do have a mediocre squad, and share their stadium with 7(!) other teams in the leage. Well, I've done all the pre season, and I'm pretty happy with the transfers I've made, and will do some screenshots of that shortly. I was pretty happy with this friendly result: My complete pre season results were a success: 30/07/2007 - Lucky Mile 1- 3 Kitchee 04/08/2007 - Kui Tan 0 - 4 Kitchee 07/08/2007 - Fire Services 0 - 13 Kitchee 11/08/2007 - HKFC 0 - 3 Kitchee | | | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | | | |
