Where Workington were when I took over:

Where they are with one game to go:

As you can see I've turned the club around, From relegation battlers to Play-Off Contenders in what can only be described as a 25 game season with the club in ruins after 17 games befre the old manager was sacked. What did I say though, about it going down to the wire.

AFC Telford, Tamworth and Workington all on 68 points with one game to go. Will post their matches along with ours. We have the goal difference advantage so a win will put me in the Play-Offs.

Oh My God, I thought that it would be Tamworth, AFC Telford and us in Play-Off battle but look at what happened.

3rd - Workington
4th - Tamworth
5th- AFC Telford

6th - Burscough

And heres how it happened.

AFC Telford 1-0 Solihull Moors 1min

Blyth 0-1 Tamworth 25min

Workington 1-0 Stalybridge 38min

AFC Telford 2-1 Solihull Moors 78min

so were in the play-offs finals fter I beat Tamworth 5-4 on Agg.

Workington 1-1 Tamworth
Tamworth 3-4 Workington

In the final its Workington Vs Southport who are the richest club in the league, worth more than 250k more than us and we they are heavy favorites. but if we pull it off then we will be facing the likes of York and Stockport. Not bad for my first season in English Football.

Conference Football next year garanteed, might be Chesterfield manager next year but not sure, will tell you if anything changes.

Im sitting top half. Which is good considering the gulf in class. TNS and Llanelli are far superior to the rest. Theyve been beating teams 10-0 in the league. Im hoping the Cup wins favour me and I still manage to sneak into europe. I'll post screenies soon.

started on the 12th april. Day after 1st post. So only a few weeks and Ive not had chance to play it constant. So you could still join in!

any low league outside of europe, use your head, be the manager of a team from Hong Kong etc. Just say what the nation is here first and we will tell you if its ok but odds are it will be.

I've started as Persegi Bali in Indonesia. I've loaded Indonesia, Malyasia, all of England, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as the top divisions of Scotland as well as the top 2 in Italy.
Im playin this on off at the moment though.

good choice. Not tried indonesian league myself whats it like? If its anything like hong kong its hard to lure foreigners to your team. good call adding wales and n.ireland as they can act as a great stepping stone in this sort of challenge.

It's difficult,my hardest challenge on fm ever. Its not really hard to lure foreigners as there's a 5 foreigner rule, but there are a lot there in Indonesia. They really make the difference though. My team was in a state, had 18k to spend, spent most of it and well over wage structure already. Predicted 17th and im hoping i can deliver success. Northern Ireland and Wales are pretty low standards of football so hopefully a job there will come up.

Hey have just started challenge for Beijing IT in China i started in July im 12th and singing BIG... had 110k to spend...

So will keep you updated...

Lost first 2 games Controvise in both 1st a goal disalowed apparently offside (watched replays obviously no)

and 2 sendings off in othe :( maybe i can turn things round...

Started in the Indian National Football League as it seemed nobody else was playing in India. I've chosen East Bengal, let's see how I go. I already much prefer managing lower league sides over top sides, but that being said I'm not exactly fantastic with tactics. Should be interesting.

other way round for me, i'm great at making tactics for low league teams, but when I'm a big team, long fast tempo play doesn't work. Good luck in India mate.
