Ok, thought i'd come up with a simple chalenge. You have to take one of the following sides that are placed 7th to 10th at current La Liga standings, and take them to a Champions League Place. As a sub challenge you need to win the Copa Del Rey within 5 years of taking over the side

Racing Santander
Getafe C.F
U.D Almeria
Athletic Club

No time limit to do this.
Also, no need to cheat otherwise it's no fun. So use your own tactics and see if you can beat the best in Spain's cup competition. Obviously you will have to play La Liga games, but that's all part of the fun of building your squad.

Hope some guys try it out, and I will do some time soon.

Ill give this a crack as Im bored with my East Fife game and I cant seem to get in to any game recently apart from East Fife.

I am Racing Santander with a goodish transfer budget of around 2.5 mil. Got a few decent players in, Ever Banega, who my assistant says has 3 stars but my scouts who have better stats say he has around 4 and is better than my current best dm.

Just a quick update, Im near the start of the Copa Del Ray, but just thought u would like to see my results.
I spent my budget on a new left back, after I found that there was no cover and the current left back was getting on a bit. I got 2 loans from Valencia, my parent club; Ever Banega and Vicente Guiata. I also paid 35k for Eros Corrandi, a goalie from Parma.
Currently I am 11th in a very tight La Liga, 7 points of 4th place.

Here are my 2 best results against Valencia and Sevilla: ( Sorry about the Skin change, I change regularly! )

Bad News
I crashed out of the Spanish Cup,which I think is the Copa Del Rey in extra time to Murcia who scored a blatant offside goal :(

That's one thing that could ruin it challenge wise. Do you reckon it would be best if I edited it so it's a challenge to take these sides to either a Champions League place or the Copa Del Rey?

Qualifying for the Champions League would make the challenge last much longer but the Copa Del Ray theme should still be there as a sub challenge as something that u must complete before say 2012 or summat.

Well I've failed this as I have got the sack in mid March :(
