Couldnt even manage it with Spain :| lost 3-2 v England after Capdevilla scored a 117 minute own goal.

Yeah, I've never won EURO 2008, ever on my game.
Looks like a good challenge. I might just have a go later. If I win EURO 2008 then I will defo go after South Africa 2010. |

Harty your like me mate, I can't manage big international teams, can take small teams to major tornements but can't do much more, always seem to forget a big player because i left him out cos he was injured or something. will try this though but will most likely fail. |

Actually on this occasion (I always did hopeless on internationals with FM07) I did really well, until I lost 3-2 to England in the final. Along the way I destroyed all comers, Sweden 3-0 Czech Rep 4-1 and Scotland 3-1 in the qualifiers, France 2-0 in the quarters, Italy 4-2 in the semis, then came seriously unstuck with both Raul and Torres out injured in the final. Add to which I ran into Rooney Fc who scored one, made another for Owen and generally ran the game, and then after pulling two back in the second half through David Silva, lost in the 117th to Man of the tournament for me, Capdevilla, putting past Iker Casillas after trying to clear from a corner. That was my first ever (possibly last) foray into international management on FM08 and im still manager of spain so I must be doing ok! |
