Football's first "invincibles"!

In the 1901 season, Preston North End went unbeaten in every competition they played in. They won them all.

In the modern day, it is near impossible. But why don't you have a go.

100 years on, Preston are struggling in the championship, with average players, and not too much money.

What you must do, is take this tatty Preston team, build them up over a few years, and eventually rule Europe with them.

Go unbeaten with Preston for one whole season. Winning every competition while ur at it.

p.s If you think this is easy, try doing it with only English players

brilliant challenge in my opinion defo with the added hardness of if u want do it with only english players :)
i would have a go but just started a palermo game and im enjoyin it so dont want to start again yet lol once ive won seria a with palermo ill be onto this :)

Sounds like a fun challenge. I like a FM challenge which is combined with some history facts. Like in this case, bringing a club who was once so great back to the top. Love it and might go for it!

do you have to do this all in the first season seth, or over years there and then go unbeaten for one of them

Can't be done in the first 3-4 seasons or so without cheating (repeating matches, scout, fake money etc). Not really a challenge because whoever pulls it (and if he really sticked to playing fair) is just one very very lucky guy.

Well isn't a challenge something you can actually do? I can come up with impossible ones too you know, take a team from Blue Square N&S and win the Champion's League with a 10 goal difference in your first season. There you go, I challenge you :) No offence to you Seth :)

How hard is this :@ !?!? Tried this with barcelona on fm07, got to 16th game of la liga and it all came crashing down thanks to getafe! An interesting idea seth, but one for the more rhino skinned amongst us! I managed a whole season unbeaten, on LMA before with Juventus in serie B but preston is gonna take some doing!!!!!

VERY VERY hard challenege but could be possible, i believe it could be done in the league but when it comes to cups thats a different matter, all depends how determinded you are to the game i would say.... personally id struggle to do 5 seasons hehe :P

COntinous progress through the game and more success witha team, will higher the teams Repuation, presenting better players wanting to join. Better players wanting to join will present easier time winning games. Easier time winning games will make tactic seasier to find. Tactics easy to find will make progress faster.
