Well i thought up this tactic while I was playing in the lower leagues of scottish football, and i think it has an appeal to it, so here goes...

"Get yer kilt, we're off to the Champions League"

Basically the aim of the challenge is to begin managing a Scottish 3rd Division Team, and take then to SPL and Champions League glory, using only british players.

There will be no time limit on this challenge as it is a very a very difficult challenge and putting a time limit on it could make it even harder, even though a football manager genius could actually complete this challenge in 5 seasons, but i will crack the jokes. Realistically i think the quickest this challnge could be completed in will be 10 seasons, however if anyone does it quicker, I would liked to be proved wrong :P

The Rules

Load a game with Scottish leagues only, with third division and above selected, a medium database and attribute masking enabled. Load additional players from Britain

Add yourself as a manager with past experience set to 'automatic' and select any team in the Scottish Third Division that you wish to manage.

You may not move clubs unless you are sacked, in that case you may take over another third division club, or start the challenge again.

International management in not allowed.

Screenshots for anything are encouraged.

Could you please post a screenshot of your manager profile as soon as you take over at a new club.

Progress of your club should be documented using this thread, we want to hear the story of your club all the way through. Please keep us updated, even if you are doing really badly.

At the end of every season, could everyone post some kind of season review, including at least a screenshot of a league table. Make the title of your update bold to make it easier for people to see where the season reviews are in the thread.

ive done this before with elgin city on the last FM. I'll give it a go after my current challenge. Unless I manage to get a scottish 3rd div job I'll try and incorporate both.

done something close to this already a won the uefa cup with ayr utd and that took me 13 seasons and the highest in the spl i got was 3rd twice
