    BOMBAY STAR BREAKS DUCK



    Boy wonder, Vinod Kambli broke his duck in front of goal, with a stunning strike in the second half as India are still unbeaten under Gedupta Singh.

    Kambli started the game on the bench, but came on in the 2nd half for his under-19 teammate, Ghulam Parkar. Within 10 minutes he fired an unstoppable shot from outside the area that flew into the net.

    Sunday’s final sees South Korea take on India. South Korea are the most successful nation at this level, winning 11 titles and finishing 2nd, 4 times. They’ve been beaten in the final for the past two tournaments, and are keen to make amends. India have only ever won this trophy once, back in 1974 when they beat Iran in Thailand.
