It’s been a long 6 weeks since I announced the 2007 Annual Awards, and we’ve had a fantastic response from everyone, with a fantastic amount of votes cast. We introduced a huge range of awards, varying from Staff Member Of The Year, to Blooper Of The Year! The nominations for the first FMF Annual Awards were opened on January 12th 2008, and users were given the chance to recommend their ideal candidate for each of the fifteen awards. Just eight days later, we felt that we had gathered enough votes to open the final polls, which were to run for 40 days, allowing users a sufficient amount of time to register their verdicts. We are very pleased with the amount of votes we have received for the final polls, and without further ado, we would like to reveal the winners, and the two runners up from 2007.

Well there you go, 2007 was a fantastic year for FMF, and many great members have been rewarded for their effort in progressing the site. Congratulations to all the winners, and commiserations to all the ones who missed out, I’m sure you’ll do better next year! This has been a fantastic thing for me to produce, and I would like to thank everyone who nominated and voted. I now invite everyone to grab a glass of virtual champagne, and join us for the FMF awards after party! See you next year!!!!
