1. Post in the right forum.

Post topics in the appropriate forum. We have many many forums, and please take a moment to assess where your post would fit best. Do not post a topic in multiple forums. Please consider searching if you have a question that you think may be common to a lot of users. If you have placed the thread in the wrong forum, an Administrator or a Mod will move it for you.

2. No sexism, racism or abusive posts in the forums or in shoutbox.

Any members seen posting racist,sexist or any other abusive posts will be immediately punished. Any racist behavior will result in an automatic ban from the forums and shoutbox. Any one being abusive to another member will get severly punished, depending on the severity of their actions. The punishment will be decided between myself, bozza,spanish and the other mods.


3. No Post boosting

Those found to be flaunting this rule shall be warned. Unecessary posting, unecessary threads or random posts/threads shall be dealt with at the initiative of the member of staff exercising a context sensitive decision. Don't whine if you get warned for this. Sometimes people get away with it, but you likely will not.


4. Use common sense when posting in any of the forums.

Whereas we at FMFormation encourage laughter, fun and friendly banter amongst our members we do ask users to remain sensible when doing so. We ask users to respect other peoples opinions and beliefs.


5. Piracy of FM/CM is a forbidden topic.

This includes requests and provision of cracks/no cd patches and pirated copies of the games. People providing links to such material will equally be treated as violating this rule. This also includes directly or indirectly talking about where you may or may not have acquired software in a non-legal manner.


6. General Discussion of Piracy

The specific linking to files or sites that index files is forbidden,and will gain you an instant warning. You are permitted to discuss clients and file sharing as a phenomenon. You are not permitted to discuss specific instances of copyright violation that you or another carried out.


7. No content that is sexually explicit.

ANY sexually explicit images shall be instantly removed and you will have your account permanantly banned. This kind of behavior is unacceptable as we have many minors who use this site.


8. Be nice to the staff, and they'll be nice to you.

The staff are here for everyone, so if you're asked to cease being an annnoying moron for the benefit of everyone else in the thread or shoutbox, please cease. Really. You're only digging your own grave if you don't.

9. No text talk in posts or in the shoutbox.

We at FMFormation severely discourages users to use either leet or text speech on the forums. We ask users to remain considerate for those who read their postings.

We ask users to contribute using as clear English as they possibly can, and for those who do not know how to paragraph to learn to do so. The key labelled 'Enter' is large enough.

Also put all postings on the forums and in the shoutbox in english. Although we are not an english site we have many people from across the world who use the site. It makes it easier for us to help and understand you if we use english. Which is the universal language on this site.


10. Aliases

Each user is allowed one account. Any user found to have more than one account on FMFormation will be deemed to have an alias. The alias account will be banned and the admin/mod will decide what happens to the original account.

11 Discretionary Bans

FMFormation has implemented discretionary bans to be given out against members who are perceived to be a continually disruptive and divisive influence. Members who are deemed to fall in this category are given a permenant ban on the agreement of 3 members of staff. (Point of no return ban)

12. Shotbox rules
As clearly stated above the shoutbox, we expect NO swearing, NO fighting, NO arguments.

We all enjoy a bit of friendly banter, but there is a line. If that line is crossed and you start becoming offensive to other members in the shoutbox then dont be suprised if you land a shoutbox ban.

DO NOT post images in the shoutbox, it is not designed for this purpose.

NO advertising your own site in the shoutbox, yes you can share links to "file x" or "game Y" but advertising is not allowed.

DO NOT flood the shoutbox with repetitive posts, this gets very annoying and could land you in hot water with other members.
