Other managers only hack it for a few years, thats why I think Wenger and in particular Ferguson stand out from the other Premier League Managers. Read a top 50 managers of all time article the other day and Sven was 38th. Dunno what they were thinking! | | | | | 06-07-08, 01:14 AM | #5 (permalink) | | What Fed can do with a grape, I can't do with a beach ball! Everytime it looks like some other team is going to dominate, Fergie always builds a new United and takes the title away from his rivals. But I'm a little disappointed that 'Sir' Bob Paisley isn't in there. He helped Shankly build the foundations of Liverpool football club then when Shanks called time on his Anfield career, Bob took the club onto bigger and better things. His haul included, 6 Football League Division One titles, 3 European Cups, 1 UEFA Cup, 2 European Super Cups, 3 League Cups, 6 Charity Shields (1 of those were shared). All that in just 9 years. Surely Paisley should be there as well. | | | | 06-07-08, 01:27 AM | #6 (permalink) | | Co-founder of FMFormation's Graphical Challenges Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Lennoxtown, Glasgow Posts: 2,216 Thanks: 369 Thanked 279 Times in 150 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Since Jock Stien ain't there, it has to be Willie Malley! | R.I.P Tommy Burns - You'll Never Walk Alone | | | 06-07-08, 08:19 AM | #7 (permalink) | | Banned Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Knaresborough Posts: 500 Thanks: 945 Thanked 356 Times in 281 Posts Nominated 11 Times in 3 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 1 | To be honest, there's so many fantastic managers who could be there | | | | | 06-07-08, 08:46 AM | #8 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 122 Thanks: 0 Thanked 18 Times in 17 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | you should have done a poll, but probally lippi hes done it a world cup and europe hopefulyy fabio will do it to. | | | | | 06-07-08, 11:50 AM | #9 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 112 Thanks: 6 Thanked 22 Times in 21 Posts Nominated 1 Time in 1 Post TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | This list is bullshit Arsene Wenger is suppose to be there. Rinus Michels - the inventor of "Total Football" and the manager named by FIFA as "Manager of the Century" not on the list? No Miguel Muńoz?
