Default My personal "Third Eye"

Welcome to my new thread
This is a thread where you can post your personal "3rd Eyes" For those of you who dont know, a third eye is something funny or unusual (first championed by Soccer AM,) that has happened at a football match. This can be anything, from a dog running onto the pitch at your local sunday league game and tackling the goalkeeper, to a fat streaker ruining an international game.

Post your personal favourites here. The funnier the better!

I'll start.
**************************************************
A few years ago a friends dad took me and his kids to our first ever game. It was an FA cup game between Bournemouth and Bristol City at Dean Court.

Half hour before the game started we took our position standing behind the goal at the Home supportersend. There was one fan, (the one at every game that everyone dreads) a man in his early thirties who had obviously had a few lunchtime tipples, who's behaviour was generally annoying the hell out of everybody in the vicinity, shouting stupid songs and clapping and running up and down behind the boards on the byline.

The Bournemouth players were warming up in the goal at our end. I think it was Jimmy Glass in goal, and I remember Jon O'Neil and Steve Fletcher were taking potshots at him from outside the box.

Then came the moment we never dreamed would happen. The drunken fan was facing the crowd singing and clapping his arms over his head...Then SMACK!!!!!! A 25 yard drive from Jon O'Neil caught him squarely in the back of his head, knocking the mans cap off and planting him face down in the stand. He had to be escorted away (extremely groggily) by the stewards for some first aid.

Needless to say Jon O'Neil got a standing ovation as the players left for the tunnel. A great start to the day day was rounded off by Mr O'Neil smashing a 25 yard drive into the net, at our end, for the winner in the last ten minutes of the game, having clearly got his range in before the game had begun!
