A tight 1-1 draw was enough to see us stay up with Scunthorpe losing 2-0 to Sheffield United and Colchester and Stoke drew 2-2 against each other. A nerve racking game as the Colchester-Stoke game swayed either way. We went ahead thanks to Michael Mancienne's first half header. They piled on the pressure in the 2nd half, 18 shots in the whole game showed that. They got the equaliser 7 minutes after the break, McAuley heading home a free kick. The turning point in the game came when DJ Campbell was brought down by Barker. DJ Campbell stepped up himself and Lee Camp saved to his right. A fine save which in the end kept us up. Fryatt had a few late chances but we held on. We had managed to complete the miracle after being 9 points from safety at new year. A brilliant season had come to an end, with Queens Park Rangers staying in the Championship...
