Stijn is currently playing in the Dutch league for AZ. He joined AZ from Vitesse in the 2005/2006 season. Stijn is regarded as a tough tackling midfielder who can play as a DMC or on the left of midfield.
Stijn made his international debut in 2006 for Holland against the Republic of Ireland in a 4-0 victory.

Stijn can play in a number of positions in midfield. He is a very creative and can pass a ball extremely well. He will be the main creative threat in your side. Not sure if he would suit as a defensive midfielder as his tackling and work rate don’t look like they are up to scratch for this role. I reckon if you trained him as an AMC he would be more suited here.
