It may work with an AMC and a MC barrowed instead. Slightly more advanced up the pitch, but may leave you open more in midifeld when the opponents counter.
I would probably narrow the team width if I was going to do this, so the wide players are a little more central and keep things tight.
When I last played this system with Man Utd, I managed an unbeaten run of 156 matches in all competitions, my best run in any save yet. I wish I could post more images from that save, but lost that and lots of other stuff when the HD died on my old PC.
I may start another Man Utd game soon with this system. It's the only setup I use with them and has worked a treat, getting the best out of the starting squad.
