YouTube - Celtic vs Hearts Goals (FM08) Geoff Shreeves: Hello hello. I am once again joined by Celtic manager James McMahon. Good result for your team today, James. Do you think your side can keep that up all season?
James McMahon: Definitely. I really think we have what ti takes to easily have the SPL racked up by Christmas. Geoff Shreeves: Why did you decide to introduce such a young defender and such a quick change to your defense?
[b]James McMahon: Caddis has impressed in training, so it's only fair he got a shot. He will be my first choice right-back from now on. Hinkel, from previous World Cups and Euro Championships, we know he can play on the left.
Geoff Shreeves: So you think that you have found your best defense?
James McMahon: No! Ask a stupid question, you get a stupid answer. In all seriousness though, I think we need more back-up for central defense. Geoff Shreeves: There is rumours about a few players going around, are they true?
James McMahon: Yes, I am intrested in them, and have my scouts out watching them. But, another player who hasn't been mentioned yet who I am looking to bring in at the start of next season is Christophe Berra. Geoff Shreeves: That would then, assuming you keep McManus and keep him captain, leave you with a hard decision about who will be captain, wouldn't it?
James McMahon: It would, but just because Stephen is captain this season, doesn't mean that he is guaranteed a place in my squad next year. Him, like the rest of the squad, will need to impress this season if they want to stay here. I am planning having a massive clear-out in the summer. Geoff Shreeves: Ok, thanks for that James. To be played on 26.08.2007 at 14:00 Delighted with my latest SPL win. Looking forward to the
immense challenge that awaits in my next game in Toulouse.
Nothing has happened this week except what was mentioned about the transfers in the last post and that was big news so it deserved it's own update. Next update; Toulouse (3)vs(1) Celtic. Wish me luck! Au Revoir
