YouTube - Aberdeen 3-4 Celtic (FM2008)

Geoff Shreeves: Geoff Shreeves, SkySports News. A better result than the last time I spoke to you, don't you think?
James McMahon: Well, yeah, of course. To score 4 goals away from home against another club in the top flight can't be a bad thing can it? I am happy with the result today.

Geoff Shreeves: Surely you will be disappointed at losing 3 goals and starting the game very very poorly.
James McMahon: Obviously I am unhappy about that, and I think I may need to strengthen my defense for next season. We really need to stop conceding goals and I have Tommy Boyd and Danny McGrain training all our defenders from now on, which will hopefully improve them and stop us conceding goals.

Geoff Shreeves: What about Scott Brown. You will surely miss him for your next game after he got sent off here today.
James McMahon: We have Paul, Barry, Evander and Massimo, so no, not really.

Geoff Shreeves: Do you think it was a red card?
James McMahon: Yes, no question. It was sheer immaturity from Brown and I have told him that and fined him 1 weeks wages, which he is not happy about.

Geoff Shreeves: Jefferson Farfan is looking to be some bit of business for Celtic. Will he get any better?
James McMahon: Well, we got him for a bargain £7.5m and he is already performing in Scotland's top flight. He is only 23 and one of the best, if not the best player at Celtic, and he will improve. His potential can lead him to becoming one of the best in the world one day, we just need to try and hang on to him.

Geoff Shreeves: Wont be an easy job. *giggles* Good luck for your next game!

Dundee United 1-1 Hibs
Hearts 1-1 Gretna
Motherwell 3-3 Kilmarnock
Rangers 0-0 Falkirk
St. Mirren 1-2 Inverness CT

I am now starting to forget that embarrassing defeat against Toulouse. I am happy that I have won 3 games of 3 in the SPL, while Rangers and Hibs dropped points. We shall not be moved! Top of the league and staying that way!

Tottenham Hotspur have decided not to offer Celtic the £5m for Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink. It looks like the Dutch target man is staying in Glasgow for this season.

Scott Brown feels his fine of 1 weeks wages for getting 2 yellow cards in the first half of the Aberdeen vs Celtic game was unfair.

Scott Brown has been banned for 1 SPL match for his sending off against Aberdeen.

Celtic have told all intrested clubs, including Bolton, that they want £2.5m for Lee Naylor.

McMahon has told young right-back Paul Caddis he has a future at the club and has promoted him to the first team.

Gary Caldwell said he doesn't want to leave Celtic, but McMahon said he doesn't want to keep him. He has once again offered his services for £2m.

St. Mirren have signed former Rangers striker Dado Prso on a free transfer.

Panathinaikos have signed Thomas Buffel for £1.5m from Rangers.

Bolton have signed Ryan O'Leary for £170k from Kilmarnock.

Hamilton have signed Garry Brady from Gretna. He cost Accies £16k.

Former Rangers manager Alex McLeish has brought Charlie Adam on loan to Birmingham from Rangers. McLeish is said to be a keen admirer of the youngster and would like to make to move permanent.

Next update; Celtic vs Hearts

To think that people can go out with hatred in their heart and take away people's sons or brothers or fathers is just beyond belief. That's the way I think about it now: it's only a game. 'Educate the kids to integrate with one another and not pay any attention to who's a Catholic and who's a Protestant, and any of that rubbish. 'Just go out there, support your team, make good friends and get on with your lives.
