Jarman Shines in Crookes thrashing of Harrogate.
Super signing Nathan Jarman started off his Crookes AFC Career with a bang after scoring two in Crookes 5-0 win over Harrogate Town. The ex-Liverpool man signed for Crookes just 3 days ago but was rewarded with a first team place in his first match and it seemed to have payed off. The first goal came after 9 minutes when Jonathon Hogg hit a 25 yard volly into the top corner after the corner was cleared, so far the goal of the season. The game then slowed down, Healy produced some good saves just before half time but Harrogate and Crookes defended well until the last 15 minutes. After a cross by Boden was poorly cleared it fell to Jarman who hit it home from close range in the 76th minute. Then 4 minutes later, Thomas hit from range and scored, opening the floodgates to Crookes and making it 3-0. A poor passback left Thomas 1 on 1 with the keeper and he finished to make it 4-0 and then in injury time, Jarman's shot was parried and he followed up to make it 5. With Crookes AFC's current form, its possible that they could get the play-off's this year and if you were luck to put a bet on them at the beginning to get promoted, you can lick your lips cos you could be in for a huge payout.
