I bought FM2008 from Play.com and it arrived today and I was really eager to get stuck into it.
The install went as planned but when I try to start the game nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled seven times tonight and the same problem persists. When I click on FM.exe nothing happens. I have checked Task Manager and FM is not listed.
I am running XP and I tried a solution on SI's site about right clicking fm.exe and changing the compatibility mode to XP but there is no XP option, just 95, 98, ME, NT4 and 2000.
I have run FM05, FM06 an FM07 on this machine in the past year without any trouble.
Can anyone else help me? I've ben told this is a common problem. My brother had this problem but he told me he fixed it by simply uninstalling and reinstalling until it fixed the problem. |
