I decided to go to the stadium for Zagreb's Intertoto clash with Latvian side Dinaburg. it was a very good experience for me. it was a very tight clash all the way through the game, i was impressed by how well we kept the ball though, and we limited the Latvian team to only a few shots on our goal.

30th June.

The 2nd Leg. I had the opportunity to fly out with the squad for the 2nd leg in Latvia and watch the game in the stadium, however i decided to stay home and watch it on TV instead, thinking that we would win with ease.

1st half:
00:58: Goal! Ibricic passes it to Lovrek who is 20 yards from goal, he turjns and shoots with power! it ends up in the top corner, what a start for Zagreb!

29 mins:Goal! Simic comes short for a corner, he crosses for Ibricic who is outside the area, Ibricic's shot deflects back out to Simic who cuts inside into the area and powers the ball past the Dinaburg keeper!

43 mins: goal! long ball upfield by Polakovs, Dzidic completely misses his header to clear the ball and it falls to Danilovs who finishes it past Stojkic with ease.

45 mins: Goal! Parlov plays a great through ball to Lovrek who beats the offside trap before placing it past Polakovs to make it 3-1 to the visitors.

48 mins: Kopca plays in a high ball to Danilovs who heads home to get his 2nd goal.

Well after watching this ont TV i can tell you it was a poor game, DInaburg had the majority of possesion and it was boring to watch. I hope we dont always play like this.
