Just read this thread, and I think it's a great idea. I'm not really up on the design and tech aspects but I'd like to get involved in some way - maybe just with some ideas or at least some encouragement.

For England '66 are you going to have the whole squad? That way, the age-old debate over whether Greaves should've carried played rather than Hurst could worked out in your own game.

Plus, every other international side played with 2 wingers, and what was revolutionary about Ramsey's team was that they didn't, although John Connelly and Ian Callaghan could play there, but generally it was either 4-4-2 or 4-3-3. So this gives a great opportunity to create new tactics for old teams.

Lastly, you could take this even further. I'm a mad Liverpool fan, and there's always a debate about which teams are better. For example, which Liverpool team was the best, ('77, '79, '87-88). Plus, was the great Madrid side of the 50's better? What about Man U in 99, Spurs from the 60's etc.

Am I getting carried away? As I said, I'm useless at the tech side of development, but I'd love to help with guidance and suggestions on players and attributes.
