I can sort of see where you are coming from with this mate, i'm not or I dont think anyone on this site has claimed to be "masters of the game" but saying that tactics and team talks do nothing is not intirely true, you say that when the game wants you to lose you will do, well maybe in some cases yes and I ave to admit that now and again I ave had frustrating losses where I should ave won but I adapted and learned too pay attention to my scout reports on the opposition, this has now lead me to a reasonable amount of success in my current game and even lead me to winning the European Championships in 2012 with what I can only describe as a poor England side, I find that maybe sometimes your ave to drop that star flair player away from home now and again and put in a tenacious player to steady the ship, by no means is FM perfect but lets be honest it's still by far the best management sim out there.
