i think you're wrong there.i've tried it too and i've seen that if a game against an inferior opponent goes wrong,it goes wrong most of the times i tried it.a blatant example of this was a match with Villa against a low prem team.the 1st time it was 0-0.and so was it another 4 out of 10 times i replayed the match.i only won 2 times...
this has been like this since FM times.back in CM it was as you say.they must have changed when the luck factor for each team is computed.or something like that...
