Today the English FA sanctioned a license for FMF Spurs to be moved up to the Blue Square Premiership. Club Director John Harcourt stated it was a momentous occasion for this newly formed club. Harcourt said “FMF has been a dream in the pipeline for a long time and with the financial backing I received from many local business men, we have been able to meet the criteria set out by the FA to be granted our license to play in this great league” Harcourt also added that he feels the club have the ability to really challenge for the Championship and move the club in to league football.
