My First Press Conference...
The questions began to fly in...
Key: Reporter: Orange Wozza: Blue Bob Marley, Daily Mail. First of all Daniel, welcome to the Ricoh Arena, how does it feel to be managing such a large club like Coventry?
Absolutely amazing, these are the sort of things as a non-league manager, that you dream of. Managing a club in the top couple of leagues. My first impressions of the club are great and Geoffrey has helped me by showing me around the facilities.
The fans understandably aren't happy. What are you going to do about this?
I'm just going to get on with my job as i normally would, hopefully if results go our way the fans will begin to like me.
Harry Widge, The Sun. Realistically, what do you think you can achieve this season?
This league is so open, promotion is a possibility, relegation is a possiblity. Anything can happen - i love this league.
Fair enough, what has Geoffrey given you to spend on new players and who do you have in mind?
I havn't spoken to Geoff yet regarding the transfer and wage budget but we will be soon. There isn't many improvements i see that need making at the moment though.
John Gould, Sky Sports. How about your backroom staff? Will there be any changes made to that?
I doubt it, i may bring a scout or a coach in or something but everybody's job is safe at this moment in time.
Ok Daniel, thanks for talking to us. Good luck here at coventry and i hope to speak to you again soon.
I'm glad i got through that unscathed...
