when i was happy valley, i managed to get alex fernandez to come to them, definatly worth trying to get him.
try looking at a couple of brazillians who are cheap, some will come to you :D
i dunno if this bloke is silly enough to go to hong kong, but worth having a look at him, sabrin sburela

edit: also, ive noticed that trialists can play in the hong kong league, this is very helpful :)
2nd edit: i managed to get ageing english players to hong kong, they seem to be doing great, david unsworth and paul gerrard both play in my first team (im in september 2008) they are both availible on frees at the end of the first season ;)
