Default Shoutbox Rules

Righteo seeing as we have a new shoutbox in place I thought it was time to get some rules into place. So to new members and old here are some guidlines to follow while you are in the shoutbox

Abuse towards others

Abuse towards others is not tolerated in FMF or the shoutbox. Examples of this is rascist remarks, shoutbox bullying etc. Any user seen to be doing anything that would seem to be abusing other members will be giving a warning. Persistant abuse will result in a total ban from the shoutbox.

Forum Posting to access the Shoutbox

We have introduced a new policy for shoutbox access. Members need 5 or more posts to gain access to the shoutbox. We do not tolerate any spam posts posted in the forum. One word posts or two word posts are not allowed and will be deleted by the section Moderator or Admin. So think about your post before you make it

Shoutbox Fighting

I know we all have our disagreements with certain members on the forum and may have the ocassional row. But the problem with this is that others may become annoyed or aggitated and get involved. It also does not look good for the site if for a new member gains shoutbox access. So if you are warned by a Mod or admin, try not to take it personnally. we are thinking of the rest of the users. If the members involved insist on fighting between one another i propose that we have a 1 day shoutbox ban for those involved. This will allow the users to cool off.

Language

Bad language is not tolerated in the shoutbox. We have younger members using the forum who may take offence to it. Again it looks bad for the site guys. Moderators or admin will edit posts that contain bad language. If you persist using it you will be giving a warning. Again if you persist even more after the warning that is your last chance and you will be banned.

Shoutbox Universal Language

The only language allowed to be spoken in the forums and shoutbox is english. This is because we have many different nationalitys from ariound the world and it is the easiest way to communicate with each other

Duplicate Accounts

duplicate accounts are not allowed on FMF. For example, if you were banned from the shoutbox and created a new account to gain access to the shoutbox again you will be banned instantly. The two accounts will be totally banned from the site.

Text Language

As we have people from different nationallity's, it is better to use normal typing in the shoutbox as much as possible so that others can understand you. So just talk as if you were talking to someone in real life guys.

Okay I think thats about it. anyone with any other ideas or opinions feel free to post em. And if any mods or admin wanna add anything to this just go ahead :)

Thanks for the awesome sig Inngy
