Sölvi Sturluson (Fjölnir)
It was an amazing match. After a less than decent friendly period, I was scared that the first cup match would turn into a disaster against HK, who has media prediction 8th. Now that the match is over, I can say that it was an amazing match and enjoyed every minute of it. 15-8 shots against 1-0 for HK is just fantastic and means my tactic worked out. I had troubles finding the best suitable tactic for Fjölnir but I think I can work with the one I used against this team.
Two things I'm not happy about are the ball possession and passes completed. HK had 59% ball possession over the entire match and since my tactic isn't totally counter-attack based, this is way too high for the opponent to have. The reason why they had so much possession is because the percentage of passes completed was only 58% on my side. This is ridiculously low and unacceptable. That's something we'll have to work on in the future!
