Default Andrew Keogh

ANDY KEOGH

Club: Wolverhampton Wanderers
Age: 21
Position: Forward
Value: 900k
Nationality: Irish
Reputation: National
Squad Status: Key first team player

Andrew Declan Keogh was born on May 16 1986 in Dublin who currently plays for Wolves and Republic of Ireland U-21's although he has made an unsuccesful appearence in the senior squad. At youth level he played for Cabinteely FC and St' Josephs Boys. His senior clubs are Leeds, where he didn't make a first team appearence, he then went on loan to Scunthorpe. There he scored 2 goals in 12 appearences before going on loan to Bury. Andy obviously impressed in his time at Scunthorpe as they signed a few months after. This is where his career started going in the right direction, he clinched 19 goals in 86 games, it may not sound outstanding but he was a key figure in helping Scunthorpe into the Championship. Keogh signed for Wolves in the january transfer window for an initial fee of 600k, rising to 850k with add-ons. So far the Irishman has 8 goals in 45 appearances for the West-midlands team.

On Football Manager Andy Keogh is one of the best players in Wolves' squad, if you can get him the right partner he will score for fun. He has alot of potential and would be a good signing for lower prem teams, but i believe his potential takes him up to a decent signing for any premier division side.

Positional Instructions:

Keogh should be played up-front, but if you are desperate for a winger or attacking midfielder, he can be played there.

Strengths:

Fast
Good composure

Weaknesses:

Not too good in the air.
Set pieces.

CONCLUSION:

Keogh is an excellent player and if you can sign him or start as Wolves, he will be a great asset to your side. Keep him no matter what as he will improve into an full Ireland international and a Premiership quality striker.

Feedback welcome
