for EPL fans in Asia, surely it is great if we can watch them live here, in a truly competitive match, not just friendlies.
however i think it's bad for the players. Their tight match fixtures & schedules are tiring already, so why tell them to go abroad for a derby match? They're footballers, not rock'n'roll bands or circus performers (who earn their money by touring).
For home fans, this is bad too. How would you feel if you can't support your team in the next derby match, just because it's taking place abroad, halfway around the globe? |
