I believe that it is totally the correct decision. The EPL is perhaps the greatest league in the world. Everyone wants to see the matches. I have been a lifelong supporter of a Lower league club. I pay good money to go to Bristol and watch my team. I don't think I could get hung up or motivated about going to Bristol to watch Arsenal versus Chelsea. Scudamore and his cronies need to realise that the only English team that should be playing abroad is the National Team. Instead of trying to make even more money for all the Foreign investors that have invaded the EPL. Christ even Derby is owned by Yanks and they are down at the end of the season! they should be splashing the cash in the lower league to bring on young English talent. We cannot go on living off winning the World Cup in 66. I was one of the priviledged ones who saw that game and how good the lads were. It is now embarrassing to even mention it. No wonder our celtic friends laugh when we do!. The EPL is graced with some fantastic footballers, most of them from foreign climes who have contributed to keeping English Football the passionate game it is.I mean no disrespect to non english football fans who I am sure would love to see the EPL come to their country and play a meaningful match. Sorry English games should stay in England. Please come over here and enjoy our hospitality and th excitment of our game. Travel is cheap these days and I am sure you would love the whole football holiday thing. Just remember England is not just London, Liverpool and Manchester. There are many other places worth the visit and whree you can see great Football. Up the Gas! |
