 FMFormation's 2 Years Anniversary!
FMFormation celebrates its 2nd anniversary today (February 25, 2008). FMF started as a small FM fansite, never knowing we would turn into one of the biggest FM sites in the Football Manager scene. With hundreds of new members signing up every week and with a largely increasing activity on the Forums, we are going stronger every day and we are confident that 2008 will be a very good year for the site and for the visitors and members.
Like we said, FMF started small. We created FMF in 2006 because we felt that there wasn’t a site which had a full and well organized Downloads Center. Because so many people liked the way we created the site, we thought it was worth a shot to bring more to FMF than only downloads. We succeeded in doing this. We started FMFormation’s Database Update which became more popular with every release. We introduced unique features like an own Arcade Hall to play simple games and compete with other members, a vBookie place where people can bet on football matches with the bucks they earned by posting on our Forums, a large collection of guides for people to learn more about the game and one of the biggest features of FMF, our very own shoutbox where young and old can talk about the game and share their experiences.
Now that it’s only a matter of time before we reach the 50,000 members milestone, we can say that it’s been a privilege to do what we (the mods and admins) have done in the past two years and continuing to do in the future. We’ve all worked very hard to make FMF the site that it is now. With this we mean not only the staff but also a lot of dedicated members who love being on FMF and have spend a lot of time making FMF bigger and better. We wouldn’t be where we are now without the help of you guys! Just remember, the more you like FMF, the more the site will grow.
This topic is to discuss everything related to our site. Perhaps you can remember something that happened in the past two years, doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad, funny or sad. It’s always nice to read the stories and experiences of the members. Some of you have been on FMF since the very beginning and some of you recently joined. It doesn’t matter though because you are all part of the FMF family.
Now it is time to enjoy the free beer and grab some cake!
