From a Canadian point of view, it could only help the game - no way the North American leagues have a problem with it, just builds interest. English fans are happy to see their rich clubs plunder the transfer markets with TV money that includes international revenue - seems awfully selfish to begrudge 1 game in a 39 game schedule for a few teams. Int'l licensing earns more than 2.5% of revenue, by quite a bit. |
