Ashton aint fit, Johnson couldn't hit a barn door, Crouch doesn't suit Capello's style of play, we dont wanna be restricted to playing long ball, the only way Crouch can play!
Also I think Heskey is a good choice, but Owen has had it, because he doesn't add anything else to the game apart from scoring the odd goal and getting all the praise. Look what happened the other night, when we were playing with Rooney on his own up front we allowed two midfielders to score, just like Ronaldo does for United!
Also think Defoe should definitely be in with a shout, probably the best English natural goalscorer who can play for 3 games in a row! I think that there are a number of English strikers who aren't getting a sniff at the England side, yet they are playing consitently well for their club, people like Marcus Bent, Cameron Jerome, Darius Vassell and Dave Kitson. |
