Reading have secured the signing of Robert Vittek from German side FC Nurnberg for a fee believed to be in the region of £7.5M. Vittek signs on a 4 year deal, and the Reading fans are very excited by the prospect of the signing.

Jerome Rothen has signed a 3 year deal at Portsmouth after they agreed a fee of £10M for the French international, with PSG.
Rafael Sobis has rejected a £10M move to Sunderland, because he feels it would be too tough to leave Real Betis. This comes as a shock, after Sobis was initially very positive with the prospect of joining the Premiership club.
Corinthians striker Carlinhos has agreed terms at Man Utd and will join the club if he receives a work permit. United's bid of £1.1M for teenage sensation Henri Saivet has been rejected, and the striker has signed a new long term contract with Bordeaux
Birmingham have been dealt double blows in their attempt to sign a new keeper. Yohann Pele has agreed a new contract with Le Mans, but is still considering the offer for Birmingham. A £6M bid for Polish keeper Artur Boruc has also been rejected. Colin Doyle has moved to Crystal Palace for £800k
Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff are both interested in signing out of favour midfielder Richard Hughes from Portsmouth. Hughes is likely to be allowed to leave for an offer just short of £1M
Norwich have had a £910k bid accepted for Blackburn youngster Tony Kane, who has been offered a contract.
Chelsea teenager James Simmonds is hot property in the lower divisions, and Chelsea have had four 3 month loan bids from Exeter, Leyton Orient, Gillingham and Wycombe.
