Maynard injury confirmed
Crewe manager Robert Smith confirmed that striker Nicky Maynard with be out for 2 weeks.
"Unfortunatly he picked up a knock versus Gillingham and has a bit of brusing to his heel. Luckily its nothing serious and only a couple of weeks at most. Of course its a blow to him and the team, but we'll soldier on. Ive been planning on bringing in cover upfront anyway, so this injury shouldnt affect my plans."
