Explain your reasons for supporting your loyal team here!
I'm a supporter of United, even though my dad is a Spurs fan and I am from Stevenage, and no I am not a glory supporter, coz I have a reason for supporting United!
I moved from Stevenage to Scotton when I was just 18 months, and so had no clue what football was. When I was about 3 or 4, I had a mate who was 8 called Richard Dobson. Most kids learn about footy from their dads, or maybe their grandads, but I used to sit in his bedroom for hours on end, whilst he taught me everything about footy with those Pro Stars Big Heads!
He became my idol because I spent every minute with him, and basically thought he was really cool, so obviously I wanted to be just like him, and therefore I chose to support Man Utd.
I have pictures of me and him as young boys kitted out in blue Man U shirts from when we were sponsored by Sharp!
He was going through all the Man Utd Big Heads and the first one he showed me was Ryan Giggs, and so he has been my favourite player ever since, which is lucky coz he's still at the club and is a total legend!!!!
He inspired me to follow in his footsteps as a left winger, where I play for my local team, Knaresborough Celtic today!
I sometimes wish I was a Spurs fan because of my dad, and I feel a bit cheated as a United fan coz everything comes so easily.
But I will never change from my loyal team, because once you have a team you stick with it forever!
I support Spurs on the side now, and am glad to see them in the Carling Cup Final, and I am looking forward to todays game with great anticipation, as my house is gonna go wild!
