I'm not trying to enroach on anyone's FM managing choices, but I kind of think that managing with the bigger teams on fm08 is a hopeless case. I have been banging my head against a brick wall when managing the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, but dancing for joy at managing teams like Burton Albion. No matter the tactics or teams choices I get really strained. For example, I was liverpool and had a friendly against Trelleborg or someone like that and got beat 2-1!!! I had named a strongest 11.

Anyway, the only tactic that has worked fairly consistenly for me is a basic 4-4-2 or 4-4-2 diamond in the premiership, hope this helps and good luck.

Your mama is soooo hairy the only language she speaks....is wookie! (meet the spartans)
