Arbroath Win Scottish Third Division!
'Rookie manager Sam Draisey has won the Scottish third division in his first full season at Arbroath. When asked about it, Draisey had this to say;
"Its been a great year. We had a lot of new players in, but they gelled really quickly and the loan signings were so good i hope to keep them on next year in the second division! Its been a huge effort from all the players and staff here and I look forward to pushing us on in Scotland's third tier next year."
Sky Sports waits to see how this new manager will fair in a new league next season. He is already gathering a following in England, with many prospective employers watching his progress.
Yes, well, a lot of chairmen would be interested in a manager than can build a championship winning side without spending a penny!'
Dear Diary,
What a season. this is what its all about. Its going to be tough next season, but i think if we all pull together and try to stay injury free then we can acheive what the board and the fans are asking. Survival. Personally, i do think we can do it. Even if the media thinks we will finish bottom! Im settled here i think at the moment. Its not such a bad town. We will see what i can achieve here. Bye for now.
