Serie A Week 37 Live!

- Half-Time & Second Half

Massimo Marianella (MM): Welcome back to the studio. What a fabulous piece of football in three games so far.

Roberto Donadoni (RD): Without a doubt! All teams are going for victory. There's so much motivation, even when teams like Napoli, Milan and Parma haven't really got nothing to play for.

MM: They obviously still want to mess up leaders dreams.

RD: Ofcourse they do. It's always an extra motivation. To end someone's title dream. If you're mid-table it's always honour to do your best against top teams.

MM: Some nice goals and open play. Espescially at Napoli. All stadiums are really packed with people, San Siro almost full in Milano, San Paolo around 10 000 short at Napoli and Ennio Tardini full.

RD: Probably most Italians would see Torino win the title, unless they are either Juventus, Inter or Sampdoria fans. They play great football, they've scored most goals in league by what? 15 goals or something close to this number.

MM: You could also say that those Italians are about to have a smile on their face. Maybe during next 45 minutes?

RD: Seems very likely. 2:0 ahead and they are really looking good.

MM: Thank you for your comments, Roberto. Now a commercial, before we'll return to Ennio Tardini.

Fabio Caressa (FC): Welcome back to Ennio Tardini, where second half is about to kick off. Parma brought in Nicolas Diez over half-time.

FC: Abbruscato to Pisano on the edge of the area... spots Rosina... Dragutinovic great tackle! Though Toro captain still picks the ball up, WIDE.

Giuseppe Bergomi (GB): Just couldn't get the curl he wanted to the ball. Movement was again top class from Torino.

GB: Really sad. Padoin had a great match on the right side of defence, filling in for Andreolli who is in U21 European Championship qualifiers. Now he has to come off with injury for Raffaele Schiavi who had falled to bench for final games of season.

FC: GOAL!

FC: WHAT A COMEBACK! NELSON VALDEZ PUTS NAPOLI 3:2 AHEAD! They were 0:2 down after first 20 minutes.

GB: Great spirit. Saw the highlights at half-time and it's really open game. Napoli has dominated more and this fine move really got a deserved goal for them. Fabulous match in there with nice goals.

GB: Sluggish defending really, free-kick for Torino which Rosina is going to take now.

FC: Rosina... BARONE! Header over bar!

GB: Just centimeters away. This goal would've seriously put the game beyond doubt and so for Torino's titles.

FC: Morfeo steps up for free-kick.

GB: He has scored a few in his career.

FC: Hits... caught by Grohe!

GB: Not much of an effort from the lost talent of Italian football. Had all the potential, but some things outside of pitch obviously seemed more interesting for him unfortunately.

FC: Abbruscato with a fine pass forward to Stellone! Goes past Ferrari.. really tough angle to shoot from now... tries! Past the far post!

GB: Not really good stuff from Stellone. He did go past Ferrari and that isn't easy even when you're McLaren, but the shot was horrible. Barone was rushing in there, shouldve put the ball slowly towards center of the area.

FC: Barone comes off now. With standing ovation!

GB: Really tough year for him. Broke his leg in October, now he has returned and played regularly. And this was his best game since coming back. Hopefully he'll be in Euro 2008 squad for Italy. Lazetic in for him, probably means Rosina will move to position behind strikers.

FC: GOAL!

FC: GREAT GOAL! GREAT GOAL FROM JAVIER MASCHERANO! HIS SECOND AND MILAN IS 2:1 AHEAD! IT'S TORINO DAY!

GB: Couldn't agree more. Everything goes like Torino wants today it seems. Brilliant effort from Mascherano, powerful from outside of the area. And great move before it aswell.

FC: Rosina to Lazetic... wide.

GB: Tried from 25 meters, but wasn't on target. Was tough shot in every mean.

***

FC: Parma attacks, Kutuzov face to face with Di Loreto. Tackled away the ball. Tamas clearance falls to Morfeo! Kutuzov free... MISSES!

GB: Huge miss from Kutuzov. He was free on the edge of the area, could've moved forward, but sent the ball one meter wide. Have to do better than that, a lot better.

***
90+4'
FC: Things are going like Torino wants. Domenico Morfeo bangs over from edge of the area.

GB: Long ball upfront by Grohe, goes to Parma players though. Fans counting seconds to title.

FC: Schiavi clears! CHAMPIONS! TORINO ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF SERIE A! Years of wait, years of pain ever since 1976. Now it's all gone! Roberto Stellone scored twice to make their dreams come true.

GB: Great day for them. Absolutely great. They deserve it, especially fans for sticking with their team through-out tough times. Two years after promotion they've won the title. That's Serie A's Cinderella story!
