Torino was struggling with lack of wingers and due to injuries of Nicolae Mitea, Nikola Lazetic and Stefano Fiore, Alessandro Rosina had to play in right wing where he may also play next season as Tanel Tursk doesn't want to bench neither Simone Barone or Silva. Though he did made a brave decision in this Sunday afternoon, after sitting most of the season on bench and without any serious Serie A game under his belt, Tursk brought in experienced Marco Di Loreto for the final matches of the season as he was said to be disappointed with Raffaele Schiavi's form as of late. Alessandro Pisano and Rosina had returned from suspension due to their red cards in game against Juventus. Bologna got their first chance of first minute already as Manquoba Ngwenya shot wide from a quick counter-attack as he was served with the opportunity by Tsvetan Genkov. At the other end, Rosina's low cross found Elvis Abbruscato who saw his shot from tough angle saved. Two mines later Simone Barone sent Roberto Stellone on a run with a brilliant through pass but the striker went down after Alessandro Birindelli had tugged his shirt. With ex-Juventus defender being the last man, referee Domenico Messina sent the veteran off. And if things couldn't get any worse for Bologna, Alessandro Rosina's free-kick took a slight deflection off the wall that helped the ball to land at the far post with goalkeeper Rami Shaaban having no chance. Rosina promised to make back for his horrible red card against Juventus and started off on right foot Torino continued to dominate as Silva's fabulous pass found Elvis Abbruscato who easily went through the hole between defenders, but got denied brilliantly by finger tips of Shaaban. Barone found Rosina with a pass after a throw-in had been taken as the attacking midfielder fooled one Bologna defender before shooting a low shot wide of the far post from 23 meters out. Silva gave another great pass to Torino forwards as Stellone played the ball to Abbruscato who made a little run before hitting the bar one on one with Shaaban. Barone got the ball from following throw-in, took on two Bologna players, but shot the ball into the side net at near post. Antonio Di Natale lost the header for Nikola Lazetic cross, but the clearance fell to Marco Pisano whose curling effort from edge of the area was brilliantly tipped wide by Shaaban. The Swedish goalkeeper didn't have much to do minutes later though when Bologna defenders did the work for him, blocking shots from Roberto Stellone and Di Loreto. From following corner, Barone headed over. Silva was at middle of everything Torino did after receiving huge praise for his performance against Atalanta and another great pass saw him set up another opportunity for Abbruscato, but the Rome-born marksman could only hit it at Shaaban under pressure from two defenders. Torino soon paid it's price for wasting tons of chances as Gabriel Tamas clearance fell to Molino who passed the ball to Tsvetan Genkov whose powerful effort went in despite being straight at Marcelo Grohe as the Brazilian could only punch the ball under the bar. Minutes later Torino seemed to get another chance for victory handed to them on golden plate when Silva's brilliant technical abilities took him past two players before he passed the ball to Stellone who was blatantly taken down by Franz Bertin who was showed red for his two-footed tackle as Stellone would've gone through otherwise. Rosina shot the free-kick over and this was the last chance of action-packed first half. Torino didn't make any substitutions, but still find the back of the net. Silva seemed to be at the top of everything as he was forced back to his own half by Bologna midfielders, but the Brazilian still made the most of it, sending a long ball down the wing to Antonio Di Natale whose cross was amazingly shot wide by Stellone from not too far from goal. Bologna got a rare chance when Sebastien Romero was in the end of long Molina pass, but his shot from 25 meters out was wide of the far post. Cedric Konan and Simone Padoin joined the game before Marco Andreolli was shown a yellow card which leaves him out of next league game with Napoli. Silva combined well with Cedric Konan to set up great opportunity for fresh Padoin, but the midfielder couldn't do more from outside of the area than shoot the ball meters wide of the goal, despite having no-one urging him to hit the ball. Stellone shot the ball over top corner as he turned in box after receiving free-kick from Alessandro Rosina. Torino just couldn't score and even Silva's fabulous effort from 30 meters out after brilliant run down the center was tipped out of top corner by Rami Shaaban having his dream game. Torino eventually gave up and were lucky not to lose the game when Grohe cleared up his own mistake by saving Massimo Ambrosini's header after he had bit stupidly come out of his goal. Despite the draw, Torino remains at the position one with two point lead as Inter had 2:2 result with Atalanta, but Sampdoria got into dangerous four point distance with a 2:1 win over Lazio.
